Mark "Doo Daddy" Oakland honed his chops in the South Dakota, Iowa, and St. Louis scenes before playing the horn in the Lone Star State. He played Texas blues with the Worn Out Souls and went to soul school when he played several gigs with the late great Jr. Medlow. Mark never turns down a blues jam. He joined the Throwaway People in 1997. His favorite food is a "Marko taco."
