Justin Kirk joined the Throwaway People in 1998 after the departure of Lara Abrams. Justin brings an edgy funk feel to the band which comes from a wide range of influences including Tower of Power, Phish, and Mingus. For over seven years, Hookah-Ju has been playing bass, and studies with John Jordan of the Chris Duarte Group. Justin has formerly appeared in Common Groove and Mondo Cane.
